About the Role
The Client Operations Specialist provides operational support to internal teams and external clients within a fast-paced financial environment. This entry-level role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. You will help process client requests, support daily trade operations, prepare reports, and ensure accurate information flow between teams.
Training is provided, and you will work closely with trading, operations, and back-office teams.
Client & Team Support
Act as a point of contact for internal and external client operational requests
Receive and process client requests accurately and in a timely manner
Respond to questions about the status of requests or new clients
Build positive working relationships with clients and internal teams
Escalate more complex issues to senior team members or management
Trade & Daily Operations
Assist with processing EFR and EFP trades and identify those needing Compliance or Risk approval
Help manage futures trade movements and P&S statement requests
Review and validate trades entered at the end of the day
Communicate trade corrections to appropriate teams
Process OTC transactions in internal systems (training provided)
Provide backup support for reviewing reports against daily statements and trades
Reporting & Financial Support
Help prepare and update daily margin call reports
Send daily margin call notices to clients
Review bank statements for daily incoming funds
Prepare daily or monthly confirmations as required
Systems & Data Management
Assist the front office and clients with platform setup (QST, CQG)
Maintain accurate and updated client information across multiple systems
Ensure data accuracy and proper documentation
Additional Support
Prepare reports and data requested by management
Follow established procedures and controls
Support additional operational tasks as needed
