Responsibilities

  • Supporting data engineering and analytics efforts through data extraction, transformation, and validation

  • Navigating relational databases and writing SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of ETL processes using tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar

  • Contributing to process automation initiatives using tools such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate, including automating data flows, reporting tasks, and operational processes

  • Writing and maintaining scripts in C#, PowerShell, or similar languages to support data processing and automation

  • Working with APIs and file-based data integrations (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)

  • Supporting reporting and analytics deliverables using tools such as Power BI or other BI platforms

  • Assisting with documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of data and automation solutions

  • Collaborating with senior team members to learn best practices in data engineering, analytics, and automation

Qualifications

  • Ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Candidates graduating after December 2025 will not be considered.
  • This onsite entry level role in Birmingham, AL offers compensation typical for entry-level financial services positions in the region.
  • Relocation will not be provided for this position.
