Business Segment Overview: 

Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.

 

Position Purpose: Entry-level role supporting the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records. Apply principles of accounting to compile and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

  • Assists with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
  • Prepares and posts entries to general ledger accounts with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Prepares general ledger account reconciliations, including documentation of reconciliation process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Communicates with both internal and external auditors and satisfies their requests related to quarterly reviews and annual audits, as well as for information to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (“SOX”).
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management.
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a financial environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting software systems.
  • Experience with Oracle or Oracle Cloud ERP system a plus
  • Familiarity with SOX controls is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Physical requirements/Working conditions:

  • 4 days per week onsite, 1 day per week remote
  • Climate controlled office environment
  • Minimal physical requirements other than occasional light lifting of boxed materials.
  • Dynamic, time-sensitive environment
