Responsibilities

As a Summer Intern in Structured Credit Banking you will get involved with:

  • Preparation and coordination of client deliverables (both internal and external) in connection with prospecting and arranging new client mandates
  • Preparation of Marketing Materials and other presentations/reports as required to run the business
  • Support senior members of banking team with all aspects of the business including prospecting new mandates, managing transactions and analytics
  • Perform comprehensive market, comparable transaction, and industry research for various types of asset classes
  • Work with asset level collateral data to perform portfolio analysis and assist with the development of cash flow models
  • Work with external legal and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of disclosures in marketing materials and deal legal documents
  • Develop and maintain schedules regarding investor axes, marketing feedback and details of deal participation
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Trading desks

Qualifications

Early Careers Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program with finance or economics being an advantage and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a June 2026 start date for an 8 – 10-week program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Interested in obtaining SIE and series exams
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer

Working environment:

  • 5 days in-office
  • Travel requirements (if applicable)

 

Hiring Hourly Rate Range $30 - $40 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data).
