Responsibilities

As a Trading Assistant Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced trading environment, supporting the trading team with day-to-day operations and market analysis. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and operational workflows while contributing to the efficiency and success of the trading desk. You will work closely with seasoned traders, gaining insights into the decision-making process and tools essential for a successful career in equity trading.

    • Data Analysis: collect, organize and analyze market data to provide actionable insights
    • Research: Conduct research on market trends, economic developments, and trading strategies to support decision making
    • Strategy Development: Contribute to team discussions by presenting your own ideas and strategies, helping refine trading approaches and identify new opportunities
    • Technology Utilization: Learn and utilize analytics tools and data visualization software
    • Team Collaboration: Work in a dynamic team environment to foster trust, improve communication, and ensure seamless workflow across the desk

Qualifications

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, other financial tools and programming languages
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to sharing ideas with the team

Early Careers Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a June 2026 start date for an 8 – 10-week program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer

Working environment:

  • 5 days in-office
  • Travel requirements (if applicable)
