Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives. Develops workforce plans and an understanding of external customer trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact business. Leads organizational assessment that converts strategies into result-driven actions. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Acts as liaison with other HR functions. Provides change management leadership as needed.

 

Primary duties will include:

 

  • Provide HR business partner support. Acts as an expert and advisor within the organization.
  • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management and skills assessment and development.
  • Contribute to the development of the people strategy within defined segment group and seek to link the overall global firm-wide HR strategy where possible.
  • Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Anticipate business challenges and/or regulatory issues and recommends process improvements.
  • Coach business partners in career development, leadership and management practices
  • Lead in the development and implementation of people plans and solutions to achieve people initiatives and deliver results and a work environment where all employees can thrive and grow.
  • Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend systemic improvements.
  • Provide compensation support to leaders for all salary actions including the annual salary review, promotions, and job re-leveling situations.
  • Lead employee relations issues ranging from minor to complex situations. Independently assess situation, provide guidance to business, and execute delivery.
  • Partner with global HR leaders to drive all components of the HR agenda for the business.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.
  • Lead or contribute to various HR Projects across our team but potentially across other teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to HRBP team.
  • Maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and labor legislation.
  • Participates in the documentation and implementation of common HR processes across the organization as a foundation to streamline processes, minimize transaction time, maximize productivity, and utilize technology.
  • Partners with all areas of HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT.
  • Works on various research projects and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work non-core business hours to accommodate meetings for a variety of time zones.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to use judgement on moderate to complex business problems.
  • Ability to advise on strategic initiatives.
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating cross functional strategies to meet the needs of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and initiate change.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Must be authorized to work in the relevant work location.

Requires in office 4 days a week
