Responsibilities

Position Purpose: StoneX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact technology projects across our global enterprise. This role is pivotal in ensuring strategic alignment, timely execution, and stakeholder satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of IT initiatives. The candidate will balance working closely with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to follow best practice ways of working with technical and product teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Primary duties will include:  

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects across the full tech stack (e.g. platform development, third party integrations, client and data migrations and product upgrades).
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including product, architects, vendors, business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement within the EPMO.
  • Use tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage and report on project progress.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 8+ years experience as a technical project manager.
  • Ability to translate requirements into actionable plans.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize workload, complete multiple tasks to deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active.
  • Knowledge and experience of PM governance and tools including Jira.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).

What makes you stand out:  

  • Strong background in financial services or banking environments. 
  • Experience in coordinating multiple delivery teams across multiple geographies. 

Education / Certificates

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.  

Working environment:

  • Hybrid; the role will be based in the office 4 days per week minimum.
