Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. The role requires managing cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders teams across multiple geographies. It involves developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to meet strategic goals. Additionally, the role supports teams in refining project scope and requirements to drive clarity and efficiency.

 

Primary duties will include:  

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects (e.g., network upgrades, server migrations, cloud adoption, disaster recovery). 
  • Manage cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. 
  • Ensure compliance with financial services regulations (eg SOX). 
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. 
  • Communicate project status regularly to a wide range of stakeholders.  
  • Monitor, control and report on project progress and budget.  
  • Manage JIRA and other internal tools at project level. 
  • Help teams refine scope and requirements.  

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in infrastructure projects. 
  • Experience in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. 
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, operating systems, cloud, data centers, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and system integration. 
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans.  
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize workload, complete multiple tasks to deadlines and work under pressure 
  • Self-motivated and pro-active.  
  • Knowledge and experience of PM governance and tools including Jira 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).  

What makes you stand out:  

  • Strong background in financial services or banking environments. 
  • Experience in coordinating multiple delivery teams across multiple geographies. 

Education / Certificates

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.  

Working environment:

  • Hybrid; the role will be based in the office 4 days per week minimum.
