Responsibilities

Position Purpose:  As Non-Retail Copywriter Manager, you will manage a team of in-house writers to deliver impeccably executed, conversion-focused copy. Acting as brand guardian and driving consistency across copy you will work closely with the marketing, acquisition and creative teams to bring the StoneX brand to life across all customer touchpoints. You will play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality digital campaigns that help maximize revenues, increase retention and strengthen our brands in the marketplace

 

Primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining visibility of workflow capacity, working with the Head of Copy to ensure deadlines and proofing requirements are met.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across StoneX to understand products and provide compelling materials as required.
  • Taking a holistic view of non-retail initiatives, avoiding siloed implementations by different regions.
  • Copywriting for both digital and offline marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, banner advertisements, site content, print and web-branded materials and infographics.
  • Collaborating with creative team members, product managers, and regional stakeholders to determine concepts and copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with creative team leaders to facilitate the continued evolution of the brand voice and messaging across all media formats.
  • Manage client communication approval processes to ensure communication meets business and compliance/legal objectives.
  • Problem-solving issues and being the point of escalation for your team, this will include individual weekly meetings with the team to discuss upcoming and ongoing work.
  • Providing a comprehensive view of the non-retail copy team to the Head of Copy on a weekly basis.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the department, be it: new services, internal processes or other initiatives.
  • Act as the quality control for all marketing communications that go to print and online, reviewing, editing and approving or rejecting every marketing communication that we produce.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • At least 5 years of copywriting experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience writing in the financial industry.
  • Good relationship builder with the ability to mentor/advise colleagues at different levels.
  • High levels of attention to detail, passion for quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Solid technical content and copy creation experience within digitally led marketing organisations in the financial, investment, trading or spread-betting vertical.
  • Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent and compelling messages for prospects, clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to develop effective long-term working relationships both within the department & across departments and at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Working environment:
