Purpose: StoneX Markets is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to maintain and expand key components of our OTC Trading Platform. In this role, you’ll ensure that high-performance software continues to meet the evolving needs of traders and business goals in a fast-paced environment.
You'll work closely with traders, financial engineers, and operations teams to enhance the firm’s proprietary OTC trading systems, focusing on scaling, optimizing, and integrating new technologies. This is a role for someone who enjoys fine-tuning complex systems and pushing them to be even better. Your work will include the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and troubleshooting.
You’ll be responsible for analyzing software performance, providing technical solutions, and continuously iterating on existing features to ensure value for both the trading desk and our customers.

Primary duties will include:

• Maintain and enhance existing software, following engineering best practices and industry standards.
• Optimize system performance and scalability to handle growing business demands
• Architect intersystem frameworks for efficient communication between high-throughput trading systems.
• Identify and resolve recurring technical issues; propose and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate on projects involving third-party integrations, operations, and both web and mobile trading solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.

To Land this role you will need:

• You’re a problem solver who enjoys technical challenges and continuous improvement
• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid understanding of system design, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Functions, real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Redis), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Expert in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL, and AngularJS.

What makes you stand out:

• Familiarity with FIX Protocol and Google Analytics is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline

Working environment

• Hybrid (3 days in office per week)

Hiring Salary Range $120000-$150000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)   Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
